Dia Duit,a Andy:
This is an an Irish/American Quaker band - which is getting, well, ambling about here and there, done some well reviewed concerts, is working on the second cd "Bitter Angry Quakers", If you do a search using InOBU - Sorcha Dorcha - New York, that sort of thing, all will be ovious, you will even learn the secret handshake that can win you FREE Sorcha Dorcha CDs on occation...
Now, of course, the more Lorcan Otway songs you learn and sing at sesuins the higher in the anti/masonic order you rise, until you become one of the minions of the dark, often frowned upon by Quaker elders who tisk tisk at the spreading influence of urban plain Quakers, who boycott Quaker Oatmeal, and ofer free advertisment to McCanns and Flaven's Oats - who are on the FBI's A list of gentle folks most likely to be invited to the party at the next big round up of free thinkers... traders of songs about Highwaymen (and women Sovay)...
In short, this band is somewhat unique, goes through lots of personel, has one constant, an Uilleann pipe playing ballad writer named Lorcan... who sometimes rambles on a bit, early in the morning when he's put his wee wifie off on a bus to her sister's (sounds like the begining of a Cathal McConnel introduction to a song...)
I'm even loosing patience with this particular ramble, so I will just begin to sing...
Cheers
Lorcan "Larry"{Lor] Otway
