Not much news, but some more hopes. One of my fellow Civil War renactors works at the local veterans administration. He does something with Veteran's Affairs and has promised me he would put in a query for information on Dad. He did caution me that these types of requests are usually VERY slow in getting answered. Just the fact that he is requesting through official channels does not necessarily speed things up. Anyhow, that is the latest for what it's worth!
