I understand that insurance companies are beginning to balk everywhere at water damage, and are refusing to renew policies after a major water/mold claim...it seems that this is one of the biggest drain on them these days. I have some 'pinholes in copper pipes' problems, but I am trying to deal with it without a claim. I have had (moderate)basement leaks that I cleaned up myself rather than take chances.

Now, as I read this thread, I am looking at where I store things...just to be sure....
