Many, many years ago I was among the ranks of Jonathan's sweethearts - not the easiest of roles to fill, but exciting and fun and very romantic. Jonathan had an especial fondness for Eeyore and I made him a "Pin the Tail On Eeyore" fabric wallhanging. (Hey, it was the 70's, OK?) And I told him about Rebuses. He'd never encountered them before but took them up with gusto. He found the perfect gift for me, too. I was studying French at the time and he sent me a set of French Rebus plates. He also gave me a gorgeous antique lace mourning shawl. I guess it's time to wear it.
