Dunno, Mick. I think you may win on this one. Alison seems to be inordinately impressed by singers of songs. I know lots of songs, but if they aren't campfire songs, I know only the first verse and end up getting out my reading glasses to peer at the fine print in the hated Blue Bible (Rise Up Singing). My Steve Martin lookalike good looks and stunning vocal ability and charming personality (and remarkable humility) may not be enough. I can't remember the lyrics without a book, and I can't play an instrument.
