I've recently got this song off the DT and it's wonderful. I was talking to my old friend Chris Andreeti , who wrote the air , about it and he told me this great story.

Chris is a busker living in Ireland and he was on the street one day and a rather drunken local staggered up and asked him if he knew the song Ballyroan which was the guys favourite. Chris replied that he didn't and without further ado this guy walked off and came back half an hour later with the words ,apologising that he had forgotten the air to it. Chris duly went home and wrote an air.

A couple of weeks later Chris is out on the street sees the guy in the distance - once again obviously pissed , and starts into the song . The guy says ' that's amazing how do you know that song ? It's my favourite but you've got the tune wrong but I think yours is better ' . Oh! the Drink!!
