Well, there is. It is a little known piece of info, two words in fact, that changes the entire experience of the Fortune Cookie. Armed with this valuable information, and I will share it with all my Mudcat friends, you will no longer be wondering about the fortunes you encounter.

So now I pass on the secret...and ask that you share it only with those extremely close to you lest the secret become too well known and the mystery of Fortune cookies becomes ruined...

So now I entrust to all of you fellow Mudcatters the key--simply add these to words to the end of each and every Fortune:

"in bed."

Believe me, it makes a world of difference, and the grins on your faces will make the less fortunate Fortune cookie readers you see you wonder even moreso why they just don't get it...
