Mary Kate and all, here is my true life story about Fortune Cookies.

In about 1977, I visited my parents along with my boyfriend of the time. We all went out to dinner at a Chinese restaurant. My friend always put four spoons of sugar in his coffee. We were drinking coffee instead of tea, when dinner began. We teased him a little about how much sugar he put in his coffee. When dinner was over and the fortunes came around his fortune stated "Don't put so much sugar in your coffee. Her father will think you are extravagant."
