Hi Jon ... I appreciate your comment that a good sing is like a good conversation (my words). Very well said! And this goes back to what Mary Garvey (damn fine singer, by the way) has said. I've most always found that when the "book" comes out, no matter what book it is, I simply head for the back door. (that's where we usually hang out, in the garage, in the backyard, on the way to our cars).
