Well, when I saw and heard Martin perform it recently, he told a long story about this heavy leather-clad biker type who said that his dad used to build these thingummies, and that Martin was indeed pronouncing it wrong. Now, if I could only remember the phonetics of what Martin said this chap said it should be... I think it was "day-ser"
