I always wonder why the conservatives are the first ones to give away our rights in the face of a threat and then are the first ones to sqawk and hide behind their rights when they think the liberals are taking over! It's as though they don't trust the Constitution or the Declaration of Independance to be strong enough. Granted, even the dishwater Democrats were bamboozeled by the U.S.A.Patriot Act. But the conservatives were the first to rush in and take advantage of the situation for their own narrow beliefs.
