If we launched satellites which carried long, long rolls of duct tape into geosynchronous orbit over the US, and if the US was attacked by the missiles of a rogue state, and if the duct tape was deployed at the time of the attack, it should catch the incoming missiles and sticky them up like flies in flypaper!

Wow! This has GOT to be cheaper than President George II's antimissile defense!
