Last night I watched a PBS show on songwriters, people like Cole Porter, Warren, Arlen and lots more. At a certain point in watching Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dance it suddenly occurred to me that it was a literal mating dance, as much so as watching dancing cranes or any other eager twosomes.

No wonder my parents disapproved of dancing! :)
