As a colateral relitive of Sir Roger, I would not make that mistake, having grown up singing, My name is Roger Casement and I've come to my native land, I mean to free my nation on the Lonely Banna Strand... Nope, it is a wonderful ballad sung by Mary Courtney, and composed by Danny who I am searching high and low for, even in McKenna's fort! He wrote a number of great ballads, including the one mentioned here which speaks of hearing Nelson Mandella at Yankee Stadium, and applying his words to Ireland, it is a haunting bueatiful song.
