Thread Name: Lyr Req: Worms (Eat Some Worms)
Subject: RE: Worms (Eat Some Worms)
God, I love that song:

Nobody likes me, everybody hates, just 'cos I eat worms.(Br)
Long ones short ones, fat ones thin ones, worms that wiggle and squirm.

Bite their heads of suck* the juice out, through the skins away(Br)
That is how I live and thrive on worms 3 times a day. (Br)

Chorus
Worms, worms, worms, worms, worms, worms, worms, worms....
*Big sucking noise here.(Br)

We continued this as a round with half singing the chorus and half the verse.(BR)

I learned this at a Scout Camp in Danebridge on the Cheshire- Derbyshire border in the 60's, from another group of scouts from where I do not know. I am sure it is alive and well in Scouting. It travels well as others have pointed out. I later used at Camp Greylock, Beckett, Mass. in the Summer of 1970 and with Woodcraft Folk in Manchester and still offer it as part of an Infant worm collecting science activity in schools.(P)

I have been reliable informed that if a circle of people stand on damp grass and stamp, worms will come to the surface. Has anybody actualy witnessed this?
