Yep, we did the usual stuff again this year too. As Liz mentioned, there was plenty of merchandise to buy but I was a little dissapointed after buying the "Mr. Kipling" red nose cakes to discover that only 1p of the purchase price was donated. I realise that all those pennies stack up but you can bet that Mr.Kiplings share of the spoils was more than 1p.
I'm not wanting to put a downer on what has become a great,charitable tradition, I'm always staggered by the final figures, but I'm not so keen on firms targeting these events as opportunities.
Well done to those who organised all those special events and made us give AND have fun doing it!
