This conversation kind of begs the question what was that bird thinking anyway? What appealed to it about the inside of a darkened building that it tried to fly in there?

I need to ask myself the same question--I also have sliding glass and haven't put any scary shapes on it to keep the birds from bouncing off of it. (Is this another use for duct tape? Cut to fit bird shapes on glass?)
