If you are around South Wales or specifically on the beautiful Gower near Swansea on the weekend of the 13th-15th June 2003.You will hear the strains of folk music coming from a venue in South Gower.
The Gower Folk Festival is staged at The idyllic Gower Heritage Centre, Parkmill. A beautiful compact site with everything laid on - food ale and music from the likes of Barachois; Karen Tweed & Andy Cutting; James Fagan, Nancy & Sandra Kerr; Martin Curtis; Vasan (the international characters don't seem to work here?) from Sweden. Jenny Crook & Henry Sears; Archipelago; Pach Pi and Stefan Hannigan and a host of top local acts. There's workshops and entertainment for young and old.
