I think we spoke of this backchannel a bit. It is my understanding that there is a very conservative population there, religiously and politically. I see this as a negative, but that's just me. They're a Reagan/Bush/Bush sort of crowd, electorate-wise, with the usual attached socially restrictive baggage.

You know, it's kind of like that one tree in a big empty field, isn't it? We talked about all of the possible interesting islands out there, with the exception being Guam, and darned if your ship didn't aim straight at the island you were probably trying to miss!

I think you'd survive, however, and might have some interesting snake stories to tell when you flee return to the states.
