At a main intersection in Toronto, there's a big electronic board where they broadcast TV with captions (apparently in an attempt to make drivers get into accidents... but that's another issue).

As I was coming out of my dinner-time gig last night, people were gathering at this intersection to watch the speech. So I set up on the opposite corner, put a poster in my fiddle case about the protests planned if the war starts, and started playing. I got to talk to a lot of people about the protest plans, and I made good money too.
