Some good artists never do bad material, and some prostitute themselves on a regular basis. My vote for the worst all time song by a respectable artist is Willie Nelson's "Last Thing I Needed First Thing This Morning" which starts off with that inimitable line, "Woke up this morning, spilled all the coffee."
