Generally speaking it is far far easier to read this kind of stuff on the site it comes from, rather than cut and paste. That especially goes with extracts from newspapers. Long articles just seem to turn into illegible and unintelligible gibberish in the Mudcat format. Posting them here is self-defeating, for anyone who wants to encourage people to read them and learn from them.

Where the material isn't going to be there for long, or when it's not accessible to the general public, a straight link isn't good enough. But in those cases it's easy enough to stick it on a personal website, in a fully legible form, and link to it from the Mudcat.
