I dont think I've actually delibeartely given up old repertoire, but lifestyle changes sometimes mean you no longer go the sort of events where certain songs are suitable. So, regretfully, it is many years since I sang "The Mayor of Bayswater", "The Engineer's Wheel", "The Ball of Kerrymuir" ,"Dinah Dinah, show us your leg" or"The Good Ship Venus",
   However, I have recently had a knee operation and it is working rather well again, so it may be my services as full-back will be called for again, and the old songs can be dusted off. But I'm not holding my breath.
