(Not a Mudcatter, but I had my fingers crossed for all of you.)
Thank you to everyone who participated to support the Bozeman school music program. The money raised goes to scholarships for students to attend music camps and music lessons or help in purchasing instruments or instrument repair. Mudcatters contributed $270 to the raffle, and the funds are GREATLY APPRECIATED. There are video/DVD recordings of the two night performances if anyone is interested in seeing the talented young musicians. Contact http://www.bozeman.k12.mt.us/music/ for information on how to get a video or DVD. One young man sang his original song, Dreaming Shoes - powerful lyrics, had me close to tears.
From original compositions to classical concertos to Santana and jazz, the high school student performers were excellent. There were 48 performances over the two nights involving hundreds of students. Thank you all!!
