French teen pop star Avril Lapremiere, who made headlines, last week when she insulted American President Bush by calling him a 'belgian waffler' was busted a couple of hours ago at Lewis Airport in Paris, on suspicion of drug posession.

None of her hits have reached this side of the pond, but songs like "Trop jeune pour etre ces riches", and "chirac, tu est ma jouet de sexe", have made her the most famous 13 year old in European music.

Before the drug incident, her plans including recording with 70 year old Willie Nelson, and the late Irish band The Chieftans. My guess is that these projects are now on hold.
