I knew someone who went out early in the morning to buy a lottery ticket - and got one with the numbers that had won the night before. Then when his wife woke up he asked her to read the newspaper and check the numbers for todays ticket against the numbers that had won the previous night.

She never trusted him to buy a lottery ticket again.
