Well, it is a bit ambiguous, but I think the point of it is not in favor of naked aggression, but in favor of peace that also stands up in favor of principles. I grant you that is a slippery slope indeed -- but it is more slippery to pursue peace without any principles, apparently.    I guess, as Kim reminded us elsewhere, that each person chooses his battlles.
