Unfortunately, a lot of the songs I've read about here I've never heard of. But what did come to mind was Madonna's -(respectability debatable)- version of American Pie. It seems that if a song has a big name behind it, no matter how horrid it is, everyone just says, "oh it's just too wonderful". It sounded like crap!!
