Thread Name: Tim Smith, Scottish: 'Dun the Moor'
Subject: RE: Tim Smith, Scottish: 'Dun the Moor'
Harold from Hawthorne,
Would that be the same 'Dun the Moor' as sung by Peter Bellamy on a double C.D i have of his recordings, one of which is called something along the lines of'Mr.Kipling, Mr. Bellamy and the tradition' and the other 'Rummy conujurin' tricks'.

Just a thought, i'm sorry I don't have the C.D now (i'm working overseas and left it in the UK) but maybe someone else knows if this is the same song, has the cd and can help you. I've got a feeling it might be the same. Lyrics as I remember were something like 'Down the Moor, Down among the heather'?

Sorry I can't be of more help
Chris
