Subject: RE: Tim Smith, Scottish: 'Dun the Moor'
Indeed, I just tried a Digital Tradition search and found a Scots and an Irish version under 'Doon the moor', plus of course Skippin barfit through the heather, which in turn leads on to The queen among the heather and many other variants - e.g. As I came ower the Cairn o Mount. [I came over the high Cairn o Mount road the other day - finest FM reception in Scotland.]
