TIA: okie dokie. You asked why I thought we are in Iraq, I'll tell you.

1. Saddam is a threat to world peace.

2. Saddam is a threat because he has weapons of mass destruction, was continuing to develop them, and under the right circumstances would not hesitate to use them.

3. The Iraqi people have been oppressed for decades and it is about time somebody gave them a break.

4. Saddam is a recognized threat to the middle-east, and when the issue in Iraq is settled, a negotiated peace between Israel and Palestine may be possible.

5. Saddam would (no doubt in my mind at least) supply wmds to any terrorist group that had any chance at all of attacking the U. S. or our allies.
