Your tape arrived today. As I listen to your words and tune, the fresh noon-day Baghdad scenes from CNN flash through my mind, and I also hear the old echo of the Civil War songs, "Shiloh's Hill" and "The Vacant Chair." It's a dangerous song if you let yourself be swept along with it.
