My memories of the big tourist boats like the Balmy Days and the Argo were from the perspective of encountering them in narrow channels like Thompson's Gut, endeavering not to be swamped by their wake in our 12-foot skiff while the tourists cheerfully waved from the rails. What joy!

Now there's a whole fleet of Pink Ladies out of Boothbay Harbor, and we probably should write a song about the misadventures of one to brighten up this thread!

Say, we could all dress up like pirates and board Capt. Morse's boat while he's cruising in the lowlands low of Penobscot Bay. Anyone game?
