This has been going on for several weeks on local levels. Here locally, Lowes Home Building Supply is the dropoff point for goods to be sent to the troops. Toilet articles etc. are welcome as are books. I believe that WalMart stores are also being utilized for this purpose.
Do it! It's a good idea and it helps the troops a lot.
