Ah'm goin' to Scoot-land!

Yep, I just made my credit card company very happy and charged a couple of tickets and our hotel reservations to Glasgow. Mom's coming -- like me, she really wants to go to see dead people and old buildings (...I see dead people!...) although I certainly won't have to twist her arm to take her out on a pub crawl :)

I even coughed up the extra dough to fly right out of Sacramento -- it was worth it compared to leaving Sac at 2am to get to a flight from San Fran at 7am.

Can you tell I'm excited? I've never actually been anywhere just to have fun before!
