Schools of Trippers

Oh it was a fair, and a pleasant day,
And the docks were flush with ma's and nippers
As a Captain bold, sir, I was enrolled
To go trawling for the schools of trippers!

Oh the work was hard, and the hours long,
And they fed me on cold tea and kippers,
Spending summer pointing out attractions
To the fat and lazy schools of trippers!

In their shorts and spats, with their snotty brats
Wearing paisley socks and bedroom slippers
With their shades as large as a cargo barge,
God defend me from the schools of trippers!
