Lovely choice there Kat and beautifully rendered.
So nice to come in here and hear a song that leaves no doubt as to it's meaning, away from the cyber world of words that sometimes just do not convey the emotion behind them!
I have just thought that perhaps this song might be appropriate for both singers and players?
Just let me grab another Irish Coffee..need to ease up on these:>)..oh but they taste so good!....anyone what one while Im up?
While Im collecting it...does anyone else wish to join in....find a key that's suits...
Ah the breeze from the open Window feels nice against the brow.....

DANCING AT WHITSUN

Tis fifty long Springtimes since she was a bride,
but still you may see her at each Whitsuntide,
In a dress of white linen and ribbons of green,
As green as her memories of Lovin.

The Feet that were nimble tread carefully now,
as gentle a measure as age will allow,
Through the groves of white blossoms, by fields of young corn.
Where once she was pledged to her true Love.
JA Marshall.
