I think most of us who try to help with computer tech questions here are PC users. Maybe "Mac" in the thread title would help attract the right person.

Within music forums, I suppose you could also try folkinfo as Phil Taylor sometimes looks in there. He is the author of the mac abc music program "Barfly" and as such, I would guess has a lot of experience with MIDI and Macs.
