Hi, Jill - I added crosslinks on the top of this thread. There are some longer versions of the song in this thread (click) - all variations on the same song written by Bill Halley, also known as William H Heagney. I couldn't find a copyright date, but the other thread says Jimmie Rodgers recorded it in 1933. Oh, up above Spaw says the copyright is 1932. I guess we ought to believe him.
