Lemme see . . . we starting off with miscellaneous finger-foods and dips that Jo and Denise brought, we had chicken breasts in a yummy cream sauce of my sister Pat's concoction, asparagus (Jo also brought that), salad, potatoes, mushrooms, and a turkey-ham that my wife Barbara whipped up, and a couple of kinds of wine. Phoebe brought a lemon cake (not store-bought, she made it herself) and we had coffee to go with that. This, along with little dishes of nuts, small chocolate eggs, and other such mini-nibbles all about the place. John (Pat's husband) and I brought our taste buds, and we engaged in the ritual after-dinner burpin' and scratchin'. Seven of us altogether, starting at 2:00 in the afternoon and we didn't wind down until about 9:00 in the evening. Good company and good conversation all the way. And the fridge is full of left-overs. Life is good.
Would a turkey ham be kosher? I would think so. . . .
