****MUDDY WATERS DOCUMENTARY ON PBS!
We'd like to tell you about a terrific documentary airing on PBS that's part of their American Masters series. MUDDY WATERS: CAN'T BE SATISFIED will air in most major PBS markets this Wednesday, April 23 at 8PM (please check your local listings as stations may carry American Masters on other days).

The hour-long documentary (the first-ever about Muddy) was made by acclaimed music writer Robert Gordon and documentary filmmaker Morgan Neville, and based upon Gordon's book CAN'T BE SATISFIED: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF MUDDY WATERS.

The documentary is a fascinating look into the life of Muddy Waters. It explores Waters' early experiences as a sharecropper, guitarist and occasional bootlegger, and the journey to his groundbreaking transformation of the blues. Rare recordings, never-before-aired film and radio interviews with Waters and personal photos paint a portrait of man at odds with himself: a womanizing family man, a heartbroken heartbreaker. And interviews with family members offer insight about the man, while musicians including B. B. King, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Bonnie Raitt, Buddy Guy, Charlie Musselwhite, Chuck D., Willie Dixon, James Cotton, and Jim Dickinson talk about the artist and his impact.

Don't miss this intimate look at the pioneer of electric blues!
