I have stumbled upon a website that contains transcripts of interviews of Texans who recall the way things were many years ago. Information includes glimpses of daily life including issues of food storage, folk medicine, humor, racial prejudice, history and countless other glimpses. There are even brief soundbites of the voices of the interviewees.
