Yes-have a good day. Me and my family all know it's St George's day, and on Sunday both my kids will be marching with their Scout groups. I think it is important not to loose sight of our culture and heritage. It should be an English national day, with Morris and other celebrations. We have as much to be proud of as any other cultural group, and the impact of "Englishness" has been felt throughout the world.(Though there are many things for which we should also recognise demonstrated our worst traits both now and in the past)We celebrate much of other cultures, we should celebrate our own. Though not religious, it will be a chance for our kids to re-affirm their Scout/cub promise etc.Huzzah for Saint George.
