I'll be at a feast of tradition on St George's Day, at the George Hotel, Brailes (about 6 miles to the west of Banbury): at 7.30 pm morris dancing outside St Georges Church by the Adderbury Village and Ilmington Morris Men, at 9 pm ish the Shakespeare Mummers doing a St George and Dragons Play in the pub and then a music and singing session - finishing late! And the full range of Hook Norton beers, including the bitter at 1 guinea (£1.05) a pint! See you there?
