I love chicken-fried steak. As soon as I order it I can feel my arteries collapsing in joyous anticipation!

My favourite place is the Hill Country Baker (somewhere between Austin and Luckenbach), whose sigb proudly announces, "World's Best Chicken-fried Steak - Over Three Dozen Sold!"

If you're traveling in the States, the Cracker Barrel makes 'em pretty fair.
