well, I might actually make it to Beltane on the Charles this year. A buch of loosely-affiliated fok get together before dawn on the riverbank and as people arrive there is Morris dancing (which is usually good) and then soem singing of songs with lyric sheets passed out (which is usually pretty lame). A portable Maypole is held aloft and then brought to another spot in the Harvard dorm courtyards...my friends usually go for breakfast afterwards and then off to work...I will have Thursday off so I will spend May Eve at a friend's house who lives nearby (otherwise it is impossible for me to get there in time) and may even stay up all night to make sure I make it (since I have been staying up til 4 am lately anyway...

I usually start the day bathing my face in the dew, too!

my coven will be having our usual festival on Saturday the 3rd but I will be in New York City...
