Ditto, kat. Although my latest experience of this probably had a lot to do with not going out of my way far enough to ensure my words expressed my intentions clearly. My few months of experience on the Cat have taught me many things - and that's one of them. So thank you all for the education!

I've come to understand that posting on a discussion forum is much like performing a piece of music in public. Difficult pieces of music require much practice and preparation before they are fit for a public hearing, if justice is to be done to the music at all, and the performer cares about their reputation as a musician.

It's the same with posts on the Cat - man can a lot of godawful wrong notes result if the message is inadequately prepared! Hurtsa my ears, to say the least!

Anyway, that's my not-quite-a-rant for today - sorry about the drift and thanks for listening!
