Surely a fairly obvious point is that there are plenty of crowds of 200 Iraqis around in Iraq at the moment, and the wicked soldiers havent shot machine guns into all of them. Something happened here out of the ordinary. And we will never know what it was. People will believe what reinforces their pre-existing opinions, as is pretty universal, alas.
