Ross - I don't think they are trying hijack the bank holiday, as I can see from the website nothing, that anyone might notice, is happening at all.

In my experience, the hobbits, elves & nasty monsters of Europe are no worse than those of Bedfordshire.

However, rest assured that on Mayday I'll be dancing with the 'Harpenden Morris Persons' (actually, it's just me at the moment but I'm hoping to build up a side for next year) on the common from about 4.26am onwards.
