A close friend yesterday suffered the loss of yet another beloved animal companion -- the fourth in a year.

Last Spring, her 40-year-old pony died, obviously of old age; then a wolf-hybrid, next an elderly black Lab, and yesterday, her 23-year-old Quarter mare, Jubilee. I have also loved these wonderful beings for more than 10 years. As bad as I feel, I can't imagine how devastated she is. We spent the day together sharing anecdotes and just driving around.

When I got home, an elderly cousin had sent this link in an email. Synchronicity? Yeah.
